The 5a Amp PWM Solar Charge Controller has auto detection of 12v volt solar systems and helps prevent the overcharging and discharging of batteries. This device is used for maintaining batteries in a fully charged state. The LED indicator on the exterior of the controller will light up to indicate when and if the system is overcharging.
